Our fun bike ride along the Derwent Walk all in support of service men and woman and families in difficult situations, with 100% of all proceeds going equally to SSAFA & ABF charities.
We are please to confirm the final summary of our ‘Cycle 2 Salute’ charity bike ride.
SSAFA – The Armed Forces charity (formerly known as Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen & Families Association) and the ABF (The Soldiers Charity) are both UK charities providing lifelong support to the service families and dependants.
The Cycle ride and evening disco were sponsored by ROFLOW and including a further supporting contribution. The ROFLOW sponsored event and evening disco were equally in aid of the two charities.
Total sponsorship from the riders and Lewis Young’s just giving donation page was £4,342 the evening disco and raffle was £1,057 with an additional ROFLOW contribution of £1,201 to give a grand total of £6600 being divided equally for the two charities.
A huge thanks to Lewis Young for organising the event and hard work in pulling it all together. A massive thanks to all the riders, sponsors and evening supporters.
