ROFLOW Supporting NE Youth

ROFLOW thank everyone who contributed on our race day at Sedgefield Races in support of NE Youth.

The total raised was an incredible £6,670.00 with the full amount going towards NE Youth.

The event was attended by NE Youth Chief Executive Johnny Niblo who showed his appreciation and gratitude.  ROFLOW is a strong believer in the youth of today and Ne Youth have a vision to help all young people in the North East of England get involved in the community, enjoy their lives and achieve their potential. Their mission is to provide high quality, diverse and positive opportunities throughout their services by providing relevant information, advice and support.

Our evening included pre-race tipping from former Grand National winner Bob Champion. Bob achieved his great success by winning the Grand national at Aintree Racecourse on Aldaniti, and was further acclaimed with the film of his life ‘Champions’ who was played by the late John Hurt.

Everyone enjoyed a great day of racing in the ROFLOW suite. The day included a raffle and auction which was conducted by the legend himself Mr Derek Beasley. Once again Derek demonstrated his fantastic and inimitable style in cranking up the proceedings to bolster the monies raised.

A huge thank you to WBC Welterweight Champion John H Stracey for his contribution.

Another huge thank you to Lorna Fagan of Santander for supporting our event and much deserved charity.
